About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in the Greater London area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with students who require extra support in the classroom.

The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with the class teacher to ensure that students receive the support they need to reach their full potential. This will involve planning and delivering engaging and motivating learning environments, as well as promoting independence and social inclusion among students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN
  2. Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
  3. Help to create a stimulating and motivating learning environment
  4. Support students in developing their independence and social skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience of working with students who require extra support in the classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons
  • Knowledge of the current curriculum and ability to adapt to changing needs
