Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Enlighten Supply Pool Ltd. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and motivate students with SEN on a 1:1 basis, creating a conducive learning environment that fosters engagement and enhances their learning experience.
- Utilize creative methods to keep students engaged and motivated, managing behavior and expectations in and outside of school.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience working within schools, preferably as a Learning Support Assistant.
- Strong track record of inciting positive change in students with SEN.
- Excellent behavior management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- DBS clearance and the ability to work in a SEN school environment.
