North London Open Spaces Coordinator

The City of London Corporation seeks a highly motivated North London Open Spaces Coordinator to support waste management operations in North London Open Spaces. This critical role involves ensuring a clean and safe environment for users while meeting statutory requirements under the Environment Protection Act 1990.
This position offers a competitive salary starting at 41,813 including all allowances, depending on experience. The role comes with 24 days annual leave plus public holidays (or time in lieu where applicable) and participation in our pension scheme operated in accordance with Local Government Pension Scheme. You will also have access to employee assistance programmes, including mental well-being support.
You will be responsible for supporting recycling and waste reduction initiatives, supervising a small team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety, waste and recycling legislation, vehicle and driver regulations, and administrative record keeping. You will work collaboratively with other teams to achieve our high standards for the Green Flag award and other nationally recognised standards.
Requirements include a full clean driving license, tractor driving qualification, good understanding of Health & Safety, and experience managing a team.
