Job Title: Engagement & Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Engagement & Activities Coordinator. This role will be responsible for coordinating and implementing engagement and activities across our services in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, and South Tyneside.

About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide coordination and support for engagement and activities to enhance the lives of the people we support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and planning engagement activities, including events and communications.
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Developing and implementing recruitment initiatives to attract new clients and volunteers.
  • Supporting colleague engagement through surveys and feedback.
  • Collaborating with the Communications Team on campaign planning and content creation.
  • Creating and publishing news stories and content across various communication channels.
  • Organizing and executing inclusive events, including venue logistics and vendor management.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers or staff for event support.
  • Evaluating activities and events through participant feedback to improve future initiatives.
  • Building partnerships with local organizations to enhance activity offerings.
  • Developing promotional materials and using multiple platforms for event marketing.
  • Handling event-related issues to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Managing tasks and ensuring timely updates and reports on projects.
  • Maintaining contact lists and managing communications, including weekly updates.
  • Analyzing and presenting data in various formats and ensuring processes are followed for proper documentation.

  • IT literacy with strong MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
