Job Title: Data-Driven Product Developer

We are seeking an experienced Data-Driven Product Developer to join our EngineeringUK team in Colworth, UK.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • This position plays a critical role in driving digital innovation within our business. The right candidate will have a passion for embracing a digital mindset, supporting our digital agenda, and creating new digital tools and solutions.
  • As a key member of the Ice Cream Global R&D Team, you will work closely with users, capability teams, and third parties to create and co-develop digital tools that meet end-user needs and expectations.
  • You will be responsible for drawing upon existing formulation knowledge to explore and define digital approaches across R&D, embedding a digital mindset throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Ice Cream Digital Programme, focusing on the digitisation of formulation knowledge and the development of the Ice Cream Expert system (ICE).
  2. Develop and own the definition of ice cream formulation journeys to understand the daily tasks of formulators and how digital can support and enhance efficiency.
  3. Collaborate across R&D to investigate, design, and implement new digital capabilities within the global ice cream business.

Requirements:

  • A strong self-drive, proactive, and diligent mindset, with good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good computer literacy/experience, with a proven ability to learn new systems.
  • A passion for using and developing digital tools to help product developers.
  • Ability to prioritize workload against demand from multiple customers and projects.
