We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Step Teachers, providing support to students with complex needs in the Broadland, Norwich District.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work in a mainstream school, assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:- Student Support: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEND, promoting their educational and personal development.
- Lesson Delivery: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEND.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
- Experience: Previously working as a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience in a mainstream school.
- Skills: A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
