About the Role
The University of Stirling is seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Finance and Strategy to lead our corporate finance function. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate finance strategy that aligns with the university's overall goals and objectives
- Provide strategic guidance on financial matters, including capital structure, funding options, and risk management
- Lead a dedicated team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement business plans that drive revenue growth and improved efficiency
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role
- Proven track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this position is around £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, based on national averages and industry benchmarks.
