Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Friday Lunch Club. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and serving of meals, managing the kitchen environment, and providing support and companionship to our clients.
Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring a high standard of food safety and hygiene.
- Manage the kitchen environment, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Provide support and companionship to our clients, listening to their stories and engaging with them on a personal level.
- Able to work flexibly and reliably, including some evenings and weekends.
- Experienced in food preparation and kitchen management.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with good communication skills.
- Passionate about helping people in need and making a positive difference in the community.
- A competitive salary of £12-£14 per hour.
