Job Description

We are looking to recruit volunteers who can support the running of the Friday Lunch Club. The role involves preparing and serving meals, setting tables, washing up, and chatting to clients.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, able to treat those in need with dignity and respect, passionate about helping people in the local community, flexible, reliable and trustworthy.

They will also be able to work alongside other volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the Lunch Club and follow our Safeguarding policies.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £10-12 per hour based on 4 hours of volunteering per week.

You will also receive training opportunities such as Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, and First Aid.

Additionally, you will be part of a supportive environment where you can develop your existing skills as well as gain new skills, with a dedicated Volunteer Co-ordinator providing regular one-to-one supervisions.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be 18 years old or above and have the ability to ensure confidentiality.
