Clinical Leadership Opportunities in Emergency Nursing

The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Band 5 nurse to fill a leadership role in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in emergency nursing, with significant experience in leading and managing teams.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to take on a key leadership role within our department. As a Band 5 nurse leader, you will be responsible for providing sound professional leadership to staff at all levels, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with Trust policies and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the senior sister/charge nurse in assessing priorities of patient care and staffing requirements
- Designated responsibility for management of the unit on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure confidentiality in relation to patient information in accordance with Data Protection Act and Coldicott Guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- RGN registration
- Emergency Nursing course
- Evidence of career development
A salary of £32,239 - £43,041 per annum (dependent on experience) is available for this position.
