We are looking for a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team as a Specialist Community Practitioner Student. As a District Nurse Trainee, you will work towards gaining the clinical skills required to practice as a NMC registered Specialist practitioner in District Nursing.

Key responsibilities include working with the Practice Assessor and Practice supervisors to develop the skills and competencies to achieve NMC Registration Standards for Specialist Community Practice. You will also be expected to demonstrate an understanding of current and emerging National, Regional, and local healthcare legislation, policies, and guidelines as they pertain to chosen pathway.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong academic ability to study independently at postgraduate level. Experience of working as a registered nurse in a community nursing role is essential, as is evidence of involvement in the management of difficult situations and conflict resolution.
