Aerospace Technical Author

This role with Morson Talent is for a leading Aerospace defence manufacturer.

The estimated annual salary for this 12-month contract, likely to be long-term, is around £29.12 per hour plus GBP3.22 holiday pay, making the total compensation approximately £64,448 per annum.

The primary objective of the position is to create and maintain Flight Approved Data in accordance with departmental procedures, Service Level Agreements, and customer specifications.

You will be responsible for researching, interpreting, and originating new and amended textual data and images for inclusion in the delivered RSAF ON/OFF aircraft technical publication suite, covering in-service operation and maintenance activities.

  • Proficient use of IT systems and standard office-style applications is required.
  • Desirable experience with modern electronic production tool-sets, including Standard Generalised Mark-up Language.

Working hours are five days a week (Monday to Friday) around relevant site span hours (06:00 - 18:00). Start and finish times will be agreed upon with local Line Management in accordance with local site core hours.
