We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Assembly Specialist to join our team. About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be responsible for assembling various components, including aerospace and medical parts, using techniques such as riveting, swaging, and bonding. Your work will involve operating specialized equipment, creating and following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble aerospace and medical components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect work to ensure it meets quality and dimensional specifications.
  • Operate a range of tools, including drills, riveters, wrenches, calipers, and other specialized equipment.
  • Create, follow, and improve SOPs related to assembly builds.
  • Accurately complete traceability documentation for assembly builds (electronically and manually).
  • Manage stock levels of consumable items and ensure expiration dates are adhered to when applicable.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an assembly role within the aerospace or related industry.
  • Experience working on complex assemblies with tight tolerances.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications.
  • The ability to identify and resolve assembly issues with minimal supervision.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment with precision.
  • An understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with various metals, composites, and plastics.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency for measurements, calculations, and conversions.
  • Adaptability to changes in project requirements and new technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications.
