Aerospace Assembly Engineer:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Assembly Engineer to join our team at Safran Helicopter Engines UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.

Location:

Fareham, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom

Estimated Salary:

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About Us:

Safran Helicopter Engines is the world's leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines, dedicated exclusively to this market. Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure that products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and airworthiness authorities.
  2. Inspect parts as per drawings, documentation, routings, and required standards using various inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing life cycle.
  3. Work in accordance with HSE legislation, Company Operating Systems, policies, and procedures.
  4. Set, run, and program CMM inspection software and equipment.
  5. Experience in manual inspection techniques and equipment.
  6. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
  7. Utilise SAP system by tracking routings, data entry, and produce final release documentation.
  8. Input, record, and analyse data in varying formats.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship within Manufacturing sector - Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in company procedures and processes within an organisation accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI or equivalent standards.
