Aviation Fitters and Assemblers Wanted

Our client, based in the Havant area, is looking for skilled individuals to join their team as Aerospace Assembly Technicians. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The job entails assembling, testing, and inspecting complex aerospace components. Key responsibilities include:
- Disassembling and reassembling LRU's (Line replacement units).
- Carrying out visual inspections to identify defective items and handle them accordingly.
- Utilizing hand tools and specialized equipment for assembly, testing, and inspection purposes.
- Ensuring activities are performed correctly, using proper tooling and documentation.
You will be reporting to the Production Team Leader/Area Manager in MRO and will be part of a dynamic team working together to achieve quality results.
Requirements: Previous experience in the aerospace industry is desirable but not essential. A strong engineering background with experience of using hand and power tools and inspection equipment is necessary.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is £13.51, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the standard rate.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position with a 37-hour workweek, including core day shifts.
