About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Fraud Lead to join our team at Barclays Bank PLC. As a key member of our Cyber Fraud Fusion Center, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and excellence in our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of cyber fraud analysts, delegating responsibilities and providing guidance on complex issues.
  • Develop and implement protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Manage and protect secrets, ensuring they are securely generated, stored, and used.
  • Execute audits to monitor, identify, and assess vulnerabilities in our infrastructure and software.
  • Collaborate with developers and security teams to ensure cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in supervisory and mentorship roles, with a strong background in cyber fraud and security.
  • Knowledge of malicious attack vectors used by cyber fraud adversaries, including device and behavioral profiling, location manipulation, identity fraud, account takeover, and false documentation.
  • Ability to enrich, transform, and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, including internal and external intelligence, fraud, and business data.
  • Experience working with industry-leading digital identity, device, and behavioral profiling technology.

  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
