We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Officer to join our Cyber Security and Risk team, working within the Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) department.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven understanding and knowledge of technology and Cyber Security to play an active role in developing and driving forward all aspects of the council's Cyber Security and Risk comprising vulnerability management, incident response, governance and assurance, risk management, and providing essential and reliable services for approximately 4,500 staff between WNC and our partners, as well as for the residents of West Northamptonshire.

As a Cyber Security Officer, you will be a significant influence in the transformation and modernisation of the council's approach to Cyber Security and Risk as it moves IT services and hosting into the cloud amongst an ever-changing landscape of compliance and security requirements to enable the delivery of services while maintaining the security of the council's data.

About You

We are looking for a pragmatic individual with demonstrable experience in technology and/or Cyber Security and Risk, with a passion for driving security into all aspects of what we do.

Your ability to manage stakeholders and deliver operational projects efficiently will be a key part of your success.
