A specialist school in Basingstoke, Hampshire is currently seeking an Educational Assistant for Vulnerable Students to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working with children who have a diagnosis of ASD, SLD and additional needs. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be a patient, empathetic and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with complex needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with complex needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements

We offer a competitive salary of £83.34 per day (negotiable based on experience) and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic team environment.
