We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for Vulnerable Students to join our team at Remedy Education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs. As a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff members to educate pupils and manage challenging behaviours.

In this role, you will be working on a one-to-one basis with students to ensure they are on task and identifying potential triggers for their trauma and mental health needs. You will also play a key role in facilitating various therapeutic techniques and employing restorative practices aimed at promoting mental well-being.

This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate hoping to become a trained Psychologist in the future. You will have the chance to work alongside Psychologists and Therapists based at the school, setting you aside from other graduates.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be proactive, friendly and passionate about mental health. Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs would be beneficial.
