We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Cygnet Paddocks, our flagship Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) service in Widnes.

About the Role

As a Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse at Cygnet Paddocks, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and rehabilitation to individuals with complex needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individual care plans
  • Provide high-quality care and rehabilitation to patients with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care

Requirements
  • Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Preparedness to undertake the physical care needs of patients, demonstrating a hands-on approach to nursing care
  • Advocate for patient rights and well-being, with a commitment to providing patient-centred care
