About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our specialist Early Intervention in Psychosis Team as a CPA Care Coordinator.

The successful candidate will work with a client-centred, dynamic, and friendly multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing first episode psychosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and coordinate timely and appropriate interventions through mental health nursing for a caseload of service users living in the Bolton area.
  • Work within the framework of the Care Programme Approach (CPA) and relevant clinical pathways.
  • Establish good working relationships with a range of providers, including GPs.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, both as supervisee and supervisor.
  • Maintain confidential case records and participate in multi-agency clinical meetings.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement.
Requirements
  • Registered professional qualification in Mental Health Nursing (RMN).
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and applying the CPA framework.
  • Ability to manage own caseload and establish good working relationships with service users and providers.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation, including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Understanding of current national policy and initiatives in relation to enduring mental health issues and substance misuse.
