Mental Health Specialist

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in our integrated neighbourhood teams, working closely with health and social care professionals to provide expert mental health advice and support to individuals and families.
Main Responsibilities- Provide skilled mental health advice and support to service users, carers, and other professionals in the community.
- Work as part of the integrated neighbourhood team to deliver high-quality mental health services that meet the needs of our communities.
- Maintain current, up-to-date knowledge of mental health disorders and treatments, and provide training and education to other professionals as needed.
- Work closely with local teams to step up or signpost as clinically indicated, and provide formal and informal training to GPs, primary care, and social teams on topics relating to mental health.

We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Trafford, and Wigan, as well as specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester and beyond.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality mental health services. Essential criteria include NMC registration, experience in a community setting, and a valid driving license. Desirable criteria include experience working with vulnerable adults and children, and proficiency in a second language.
