Main Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled mental health advice and support to service users, carers, and other professionals in the community.
  • Work closely with adult and older people's mental health services to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintain current, up-to-date knowledge of mental health disorders and treatments, and provide training and education to colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with local teams, including GP surgeries and social care services.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health services and policies that meet the needs of our communities.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality mental health services. The ideal candidate will have:

  • NMC registration as a mental health nurse or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working in a community mental health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
