Mental Health Specialist

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in our integrated neighbourhood teams, working closely with health and social care professionals to provide expert mental health advice and support to individuals and families.
Main Responsibilities- Work as a member of the integrated neighbourhood team, providing mental health expertise and support to service users, carers, and other professionals.
- Maintain current, up-to-date knowledge of mental health disorders and treatments, and provide skilled advice and guidance to colleagues and service users.
- Work in partnership with health and social care services, including adult and older people's mental health services, to ensure seamless care and support.
- Provide formal and informal training to GPs, primary care, and social teams on mental health topics, enhancing their skills and knowledge in diagnosis and management.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with local teams, stepping up or signposting as clinically indicated.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to our communities. Essential criteria include NMC registration, experience in a community setting, and a valid driving license. Desirable criteria include experience working with vulnerable adults and children, and proficiency in a second language.
