About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to older adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions for older adults with mental health problems.
  • Provide support and advice to carers and families.
  • Participate in the duty rota and work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
  • Contribute to the development of nursing practice and care pathways within the team.
  • Support student placements and contribute to the education and training of nursing staff.

Requirements
  • NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Experience of working with older adults with mental health needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of care pathways.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
