About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our sales team at Restaurant Associates. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating conference and events bookings for our exceptional venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting proactive sales activities to secure venue showrounds and upsell facilities
- Following up on post-event calls to optimize repeat business and achieve sales targets
- Ensuring accurate and timely customer, staff, and management information
- Liaising with client onsite teams to ensure a harmonized approach
- Generating and sending full pre-payment invoices to customers
- Updating final invoice revenue in our booking system
- Updating 3rd party platforms and our website with seasonal offers and packages
- Staying aware of sales activity and market intelligence to ensure we maintain our market share
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date reports and information
- Maintaining relationships with local event partners and vendors
- Supporting innovative campaigns for our Sales and Marketing plan
- Responding positively and efficiently to customers to optimize repeat business
Requirements
- Extensive event planning experience within the UK conference and events industry
- Experience in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and developing business strategy to achieve growth expectations
- Minimum 2 years experience in an event planning role within a Conference & Events environment
