Regulatory Compliance Professional Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Professional to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our customs operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be working closely with our programme teams to provide technical customs advice and guidance to ensure compliance with internal corporate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Customs Compliance processes for the largest aircraft engine service facility within a global business.
  • Management of import and export processes within the site for a Global Supply Chain, identifying areas of risk to the business, including investigation of compliance defects and leading corrective actions to closure.
  • Manage direct reports and maintain internal team processes and ongoing training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a strong understanding of HM Customs & Excise IPR, End Use, and Community Control procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree / relevant diploma holder desirable.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, with ongoing experience of windows-based packages.
