Care Quality Commission (CQC) Manager Job

Nutrixmedical is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered CQC Manager to lead our care services in the Cardiff area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading a team of care professionals, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Leading and managing the care team to provide exceptional care.
    • Conducting regular staff training and development programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and other statutory requirements.
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of CQC guidelines and implementing necessary changes.
    • Preparing for and managing CQC inspections.
  • Care Delivery:
    • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided.
    • Developing person-centred care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Financial and Operational Management:
    • Effectively managing budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Safeguarding and Risk Management:
    • Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
    • Identifying, reporting, and addressing risks promptly.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 or 4 Qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a management role within the care sector.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  • Proficient in using care management systems and IT tools.
