Fire Door Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Specialist to join our team at the Iris Care Group. As a Fire Door Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring fire doors meet industry standards and regulations in care homes or facilities.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Fire Door Engineer or in a similar role, ideally within the care sector or healthcare environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and maintain fire doors in accordance with industry standards (BS 8214).
  • Ensure all fire doors comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits of all fire doors, checking for any signs of wear, damage, or misuse.
  • Maintain detailed records of all inspections, maintenance work, repairs, and replacements.
  • Assist in fire safety risk assessments across the facilities.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
