Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Burton on Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating large-scale fabrications and structures, as well as associated pipework and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and creation of 2D and 3D engineering diagrams
- Generation of engineering drawings for use on equipment
- Working on specific projects from conception to completion
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within a mechanical design environment, ideally on large plant or machinery or metal fabrications/structural steelwork. They must also be qualified to a minimum of HNC in a relevant discipline and have experience of using Inventor iLogic and both 2D and 3D CAD.
Requirements:- Proven experience in mechanical design
- Qualification to HNC level or higher in a relevant discipline
- Experience of using Inventor iLogic and 2D and 3D CAD
- Ability to work on large-scale fabrications and structures
