Mechanical Design Engineer

Premier Group Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Burton upon Trent, Derbyshire.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with experience in creating 3D designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing engineering documents, generating BOMs, and liaising with colleagues on engineering tasks. They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge with a company that is committed to long-term growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems
- Produce engineering documents and BOMs
- Liaise with colleagues on engineering tasks
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Strong background in mechanical design
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
