Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom Ramboll Full time

At Ramboll, we're driven by our Nordic heritage to improve conditions for people and nature through our projects. As a foundation-owned multinational company, the profit we make is reinvested into the company, ensuring the continued development of employees or funding research, charity, and humanitarian projects.

We're committed to being 'The Partner for Sustainable Change,' making your work impactful on people, communities, and the environment. As a Graduate at Ramboll, you'll gain flexibility and the opportunity to develop into an all-rounder. You'll work on a broad range of projects across highways, energy, marine, and more, leveraging your education as a foundation but also quick learning of new engineering concepts and technologies.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include contributing to project lifecycle design and delivery, performing analysis using computer modeling, developing digital tools, and translating engineering concepts into presentations, reports, sketches, drawings, and infographics that communicate their value to clients and stakeholders.

You'll learn to identify potential health & safety, design, and commercial risks on our projects and contribute towards mitigating them. Sustainability will be at the heart of everything you do, from initial concepts to construction and operation. You'll also contribute to the development of company procedures and proactively pursue continuous professional development, including working towards chartership with a recognised institution.

A BEng, MEng, or MSc degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as General Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Engineering Geology, is required. You should have the ability to summarise and present information via different channels and a positive attitude to learning new skills. Understanding Digital Automation is also essential.

This role offers a competitive salary, estimated around £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. Additional benefits include hybrid & flexible working, 27 days holiday per year + 8 days bank holiday, professional subscription, matched pension scheme, private medical insurance, and a range of flexible benefits.
