Child and Family Practitioner

The Talent Crowd is seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Team in Bolton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering essential support services to families, including family time, home visits, and direct work with children.
Job Summary:
- Deliver high-quality support services to families in need
- Assess and address family needs through comprehensive home visits
- Provide direct work with children to enhance their well-being and resilience
- Collaborate with families to develop effective behaviour management strategies and routines
- Refer families to relevant support services as necessary
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support families during family time sessions
- Conduct thorough assessments of family needs through home visits
- Develop and implement tailored plans to support children's needs
- Work closely with families to establish and maintain positive relationships
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss family progress and plan future interventions
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work or related field
- Significant experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and families
- Proven track record of delivering effective support services to families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
