Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our site services & utilities team at a leading food manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain all company equipment and loose assets, including fabrication and repairs of racks, moulds, etc.
- Work closely with the site services / utilities team on additional tasks and projects.
- Perform welding tasks, including MiG, TiG, and Stick welding, primarily on stainless steel and occasionally on mild steel.
- Conduct mechanical fabrication, general fitting work, and repairs, as well as installation and fitting of pipework.
- Assist with workshop tasks, including milling, turning, and use of lathes.
- Support team members with training on various welding techniques and tasks.
- Must be an experienced welder and fabricator.
- Ideal candidate has worked in the food manufacturing industry.
- Welding skills: MiG, TiG, and Stick welding.
- Able to use Oxy Acetylene equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Previous experience as a coded welder is a plus.
- Ability to mark up and fabricate own work.
- Willingness to assist in other areas of the site services & utilities team, including maintenance and breakdowns.
