Welder Fabricator Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Intertek. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, manufacture, fitting, assembly, welding, and machining of equipment, materials, and structures to allow the speedy introduction of a DUT to a propulsion test cell.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication of framework and fixtures to allow install of DUT to test cell.
- Modification of exhaust systems, plant/chiller pipes, fuel lines, etc.
- Instrumentation of turbos, catalytic converters, motors, plant pipes, cylinder blocks, etc.
- Manufacture of bespoke adaptors and fittings.
- Pressure/leak testing of systems and subsequent repair.
- Drilling, cutting, assembly, and fixing, etc.
- Work requests close off and management.
