Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our site services & utilities team at a leading food manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all company equipment and loose assets, including fabrication and repairs of racks, moulds, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair company equipment and assets
- Support the site services / utilities team with additional tasks
- Welding - MiG, TiG, Stick
- Mechanical fabrication and general fitting work and repairs
- Installation and fitting of pipework
- Workshop tasks when needed - milling, turning, use of lathes
- Supporting other team members with training on various welding techniques and tasks
- Must be an experienced welder and fabricator
- Ideally have worked in the food manufacturing industry
- Welding - must be able to do MiG, TiG & Stick
- Able to use Oxy Acetylene equipment
- Strong, proactive and effective communication skills
- If previously been a coded welder that would be great
- Must be able to mark up and fabricate own work
- Happy to help in other areas of site services & utilities team - maintenance, breakdowns etc.
- Any previous experience of manual machining - milling, turning, grinding would be beneficial
