Accounts Assistant

Main Responsibilities:
• Matching, batching, coding and reconciling invoices
• Raising sales invoices, logging and chasing payments
• Preparing payment runs and processing through the banking system
• Monthly completion of sub contractor Tax returns
• Running credit checks
• Preparing journal entries using Sage
• Supporting with management accounts; month, quarter and year-end
• Managing and reconciling petty cash
Requirements:
A good working knowledge of all round accounts functions, preferably used the Sage system, ability to produce spreadsheets using Excel, strong communication skills with a polite and pleasant demeanour, excellent attention to detail and be well organised and focussed.
