Medical Equipment Specialist

Job Overview: NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer to join their team. As a Clinical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing medical equipment across ten hospital sites in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for medical equipment and patient safety.
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Clinical Engineer with engineering or technology knowledge to SCQF Level 9. You will have post-graduate experience of medical equipment, including attendance at manufacturers' technical courses. Your skills in servicing, repairing, and fault-finding medical equipment will be invaluable in this role. You will also need excellent organisational and communication skills to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage medical equipment across ten hospital sites in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
- Service, repair, and fault-find medical equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure medical equipment meets clinical needs.
- Stay up-to-date with new medical technologies and advancements.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
