Job Details

The successful candidate will work as part of a specialist interdisciplinary team in the Inverclyde Neuro-Rehabilitation Service (NRS).

This service provides specialist multidisciplinary Neurological Care and Rehabilitation to patients with neurological and major trauma impairments, covering in-patients and community patients.

The post is based in the Larkfield Unit, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Greenock.

This role is generic and supports the four disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, and Physiotherapy.

Requirements
  1. A passion for motivating and supporting people towards achieving rehabilitation goals is essential.
  2. Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with a range of Health and Social Care staff, families, and patients who have physical, nutritional, and cognitive-communication needs, are required.
  3. The ideal candidate should have competence in using common IT systems and equipment to contribute to administration duties, patient records, and to support specialist communication therapy.

The salary for this role is estimated to be £25,415 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.
