Energetic Controls Specialist

This is an exceptional chance to join a leading Independent Specialist BEMS and Building Services ICT Systems Consultancy. As a Senior BEMS Consultant, you will provide expert consultancy services, from system surveys and feasibility studies to detailed designs and commissioning management. You'll work directly with clients to deliver impactful projects that optimize building performance and sustainability, leveraging the latest intelligent systems and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct System Condition surveys, producing reports and recommendations for clients
- Completion of Feasibility Studies, Energy Management Surveys, Specification reviews & evaluation
- Providing Application advice to clients
- Production of Concept / Scheme designs, performance specifications and detailed design development
- Engaged in Tender Management and Tender Vetting on behalf of the client.
- Production of Cost/Bid analysis
- Project Management on behalf of client to include project progress reporting and Contract Administration as applicable
- Responsible for Commissioning Management and Snagging on behalf of client
- Conduct system witness testing and Attendance at BMS FAT's and SAT's.
- Production of case studies
- Review/updating of building energy log books
- Client systems training
- Maintain your personal Continuous Professional Development (CPD); sharing knowledge internally with colleagues and externally with clients
- Capture all activity in our customer relationship management (CRM) tool to ensure collaboration and continuity of efforts across the team
Requirements:
- Commercial experience in building services industry (consultancy or contractor) to include installation and testing of control systems and Control system
- Project Management
- Strong technical & design skills in Controls, BMS / iBMS / Smart Buildings technologies
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at Senior Manager / Director level, architects, M&E contractors and others
- Tact and persuasive ability
