We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Government Services Delivery Director to join our team at Mastek.

We are committed to helping public sector organizations improve the lives of citizens through innovative solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in delivering user-centered, iterative, and data-driven solutions that meet GDS standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, GDS frameworks, and the ability to manage and guide teams through the discovery, alpha, beta, and live phases of service development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GDS Delivery Leadership:
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with GDS service standards, including preparing for and leading service assessments.
  • Embed GDS principles into all aspects of delivery, from user-centered design to performance monitoring and iterative improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to deliver services that meet user needs.
  • Agile Facilitation and Management:
  • Act as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure teams are aligned and effective.
  • Manage team dynamics and support high performance across projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs are considered throughout delivery.
  • Clearly communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Align project goals with organizational priorities while ensuring user needs remain central.
  • Continuous Delivery and Improvement:
  • Drive a culture of experimentation and learning, using data to inform decisions and refine solutions.
  • Monitor project delivery metrics and feedback to ensure compliance with GDS principles.
  • Support the team in identifying opportunities for iteration and improvement across services.
  • Risk Management and Governance:
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and constraints proactively.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with governance requirements, including GDS standards and organizational policies.
  • Prepare teams and stakeholders for GDS service assessments, ensuring readiness and alignment.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this role is $140,000 - $200,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions.
