Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our Transport team at Culina Group on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Transport operation, ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise resource allocation and adherence to Working Time Directive (WTD) and drivers' hours legislation.
  • Develop and implement an effective transport plan to achieve on-time delivery and collection performance expectations.
  • Oversee the management of own and subcontractor resources to achieve delivery/collection times, creating and updating daily run summaries.
  • Effectively communicate with the Planning team, Customer Service, other depots, and when required, directly with customers.
  • Monitor arrival and departure times, ensuring deliveries are made within specified windows.
  • Find the best fit solution for customer collections, adhering to collection times.
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents, and near misses are logged, investigated, and reported.
  • Carry out colleague reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Liaise and plan drivers for meetings/courses as required.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge and experience of tachograph/driving rules and regulations.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Planning and organising skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet set deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office packages, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
