Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our Transport team at Great Bear on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the Transport operation, ensuring service levels are achieved and maintained.
  • Plan and optimize driver and vehicle resource to achieve delivery and collection times.
  • Develop and implement effective transport plans to meet on-time delivery and collection performance expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with the Planning team, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor arrival and departure times, ensuring deliveries are made within specified windows.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues or incidents related to transport operations.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of team performance and provide coaching and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience of tachograph and driving rules and regulations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office packages, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
