We are seeking a talented and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist to take on a leadership role in our pharmacy department. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide high-quality clinical services to patients.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a clinical setting as a pharmacist, with leadership or managerial experience in a pharmacy setting. They will also have a good understanding of oncology pharmacy and be able to make decisions and use their initiative.

In this role, you will provide leadership and advice on medicines management to ensure that processes across all clinical departments throughout the hospital are safe, cost-effective, and legal. You will also be responsible for leading, motivating, and effectively managing the pharmacy team by providing excellent leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and advice on medicines management.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the pharmacy team.
  • Ensure adherence to medicines optimisation policies and procedures.
  • Provide oversight of pharmaceutical stock procurement.
  • Implement medication safety alerts and drug recalls.
  • Manage errors, complaints, and incidents.
  • Support the development of other healthcare professionals.
