Healthcare Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Field Care Supervisor to join our dynamic complex care team in West Kent. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the care of clients with diverse complex care needs, ensuring they receive exceptional service from a well-trained and enthusiastic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Nurse Manager to set up new care packages and ensure seamless transitions for clients.
- Maintain regular shifts within your client caseload, prioritizing their needs and providing personalized care.
- Uphold familiarity with each client's requirements, adhering to their care plans and making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to review and update clients' care plans, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
- Identify and communicate staffing gaps, engage in recruitment, and introduce new hires to clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Mentor support workers, conduct observations, and identify training needs to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care and supervisory activities, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
- Act in the best interest of clients, prioritizing their needs and well-being above all else.
- Monitor client satisfaction, escalate concerns, and produce monthly reports to inform service development.
- Attend mandatory paid training, including achieving a QCF Level 3 within two years of employment, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, with a commitment to attaining a Level 3 Diploma within two years of joining.
- Previous experience working with people who have disabilities and complex health needs, such as those with tracheostomies, ventilators, gastrostomy tubes, and bowel management care.
