Field Care Supervisor Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Field Care Supervisor at Superior Healthcare, you will play a vital role in overseeing the care of clients with complex needs, ensuring they receive exceptional service from a well-trained and compassionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager to set up new care packages and maintain regular shifts within your client caseload.
  • Uphold familiarity with each client's requirements, providing consistent and personalized care per their care plan.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to review and update clients' care plans, identifying and communicating upcoming staffing gaps.
  • Mentor support workers, conduct observations, and identify training needs to ensure the team is equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of care and supervisory activities, monitoring client satisfaction and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Act in the best interest of clients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, with a commitment to attaining a Level 3 Diploma within two years of joining (funded by Superior Healthcare).
  • Previous experience working with people who have disabilities and complex health needs, such as those with tracheostomies, ventilators, gastrostomy tubes, and bowel management care.
