About Our Organisation

The Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) covers 120 GP practices, four Places, and 19 Primary Care Networks (PCNs).

The ICB assumes responsibility for various functions related to commissioning and managing primary medical/general practice services.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities

The Lead Commissioner for Primary Care will contribute to the development of the ICS strategy, supporting the implementation of the primary care strategy and thematic work programmes across primary care.

  • Support the delivery of national and local priorities within available funding.
  • Engage local GP practices and PCNs in the Primary Care Strategy.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clinical specialties across acute trusts and local clinical networks to re-develop clinical pathways and improve health outcomes.

Salary: £76,500 - £86,700 per annum.
