Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Technician to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients to achieve their goals and improve their occupational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of occupational therapists to implement intervention programmes with patients.
- Conduct therapeutic handling of patients and undertake home visits to deliver and fit equipment as directed.
- Assist with administrative duties as required by the department.
Requirements
- Quality Credit Framework qualification at level 3, or equivalent, in Health & Social Care.
- Relevant experience working within health, social or teaching settings.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
