About the Role

The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving incremental revenue into the assigned hotels in line with budget and future strategy. This will involve delivering new lucrative business opportunities that drive revenue and rate, and building effective relationships with existing accounts to drive volume.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives, focusing on induction, training, mentoring, and measurement of these individuals.
  • Ensure delivery of financial targets and business objectives across the hotel.
  • Identify opportunities across the whole group of hotels, promoting a cross-selling mentality across all relevant departments and areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Target-driven with strong influencing skills and a keen focus on results.
  • Adept in building new business and developing existing accounts to drive incremental revenue.
  • Ability to analyze key data, provide insight, and communicate widely across the hotel.
  • Highly commercial and adaptable to all market segments.
  • Experience of leading hotel-based sales teams to success.
  • Knowledge of the key international markets and the key drivers.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Comfortable in challenging convention.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills.
  • System knowledge.
  • Organizational/planning skills.
