Junior Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our team at Lorien Global. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of projects and gaining valuable experience in network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Collaborate with the current network specialist to deliver projects and gain insight into network infrastructure
- Develop and implement a bespoke training plan to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Work closely with various departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Contribute to the development of the company's cyber security posture
- Good knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing and switching
- Familiarity with firewalls and their integration into the network
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude and desire to progress your career as a network engineer
- Some understanding of advanced routing and switching protocols is beneficial but not essential
- Salary up to £31,000
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
